Ok, I am looking for a 12 step program to fix my dart addiction.

Here are my symptoms.

1.  I am lost on Wednesday nights; I mean really, TV sucks.
2.  I am playing full matches in my head in my garage, oh by the way….by myself!  Kilts, where are the tons?? I am getting all the trophy darts and my record is really great………..(In my head).
3.  I am checking this site every 30 Min waiting for an update??
4.  My Captain Tolson Willis (Death Throw, what a brother know) has not called me or e-mailed me, I mean does he really like me?  It must be my darts, nope?Huh???
5.  I am trying to drink beer on Wednesday night; I am only having one, WTF?Huh?
6.  I find myself pacing and rewinding past matches in my head, “damn I should have gone for points”

If you can reach out to me if you have the same symptoms, maybe we can have a support group or something………..oh yea, bring your darts!!!!!!

DT in the house!!!

If you are staying at home on Wed nights you are setting yourself up for serious trouble.

First, you start playing with yourself .. fun perhaps, but don't tell us about it!
Secondly, you start drinking by yourself .. this requires a different sort of support group.
Thirdly and perhaps most important, you set a dangerous expectation that you'll be home on Wed instead of out with your buds throwing darts.

The treatment is simple. Go out and play darts no matter what. If anyone asks if you're going out .. the answer is "yes".  Lucky for you there is a luck at the Upper Deck on Wed nights until the spring season starts.

D Darty, you are hilarious! I've been in the league for 12 or so years. The 1st Wednesday off is cool because you think "Wow, free time" and get something done you have been putting off. The 2nd Wednesday is lonely and sad  Undecided(and the symptoms you describe start in). After that it goes downhill until the season starts - hey, look on the bright side, its a much shorter break b/w fall and spring seasons than the other way around!  Grin

(And some of your teammates don't want to get together during fall break cause they are doing stuf with their families getting ready for Christmas! Really?? Whats  up with that?? - justkidding - sorta! Wink

Hope you make it to the LODs and have a good holiday!
Registration is Jan 5th and there will be darters all around that night!

Despite someone's suggestion, I don't need no stinkin' signature. You know who I am or you don't. After 15 yrs in RDL, if ya don't I don't care! :-)

Yes the break is kind of sort!! Yes!! You are right the first Wed I did do something I have been putting off. But then Thrusday came and I had nothing to talk about, everybody at work always ask me "hows darts?" I had to say it was over for now and everyone that works for me started to worry because during league play my business meetings consist of how I played, the team, what I should of done during the match etc. (not sales numbers and business plans?) man if my boss knew that I was talking darts and not business with my employees, I would be in big trouble.  Now the meetings are all business.  My employees are sure looking forward to the spring league! No more Corp Crap.
